Hello! I’m Jorge Tijerino, the founder, and CEO of Fix My WiFi. At heart, I’m an engineer with a fascination for how things work, which has guided me from my early days of disassembling VCRs just to see how they work to pioneering solutions for today’s digital challenges. Though my professional background is rooted in finance—an MBA from FIU under my belt—I’ve always harbored a passion for technology and entrepreneurship.
The inception of Fix My WiFi was born out of a glaring need I observed: the widespread frustration with WiFi connectivity at home and in small businesses. In our digitally-driven world, reliable internet is non-negotiable, yet I saw too many settling for less. Disappointed by the lackluster solutions from big-box stores, I decided to leverage my knack for problem-solving into creating a service that stands in a league of its own, dedicated to ensuring seamless connectivity for home users and businesses alike.
As the driving force of Fix My WiFi, I apply a simple yet powerful philosophy inherited from my finance background: do right by the client, and success will follow. This principle is at the core of everything we do, from troubleshooting a home network to designing a comprehensive digital ecosystem for a small business. My role spans from strategic oversight to hands-on problem-solving, ensuring that each client receives a tailor-made solution that not only meets but exceeds their expectations.
Outside of Fix My WiFi, I’m a sports enthusiast (Go Dolphins!), a devoted family man blessed with my wife Jennifer and my children, Jorgie and Justin, and an avid traveler with a keen eye for photography and architecture. These passions enrich my life and work, infusing creativity and balance into the solutions we offer at Fix My WiFi.
